Switching trains in Manhattan

I enjoy the tile-work found in the subways of Manhattan. It's often lovely -- and with the patina of soot, rat poison, and the passage of thousands of humans.

I used to like taking a glimpse of the abandoned stations on the subway (both in NY and Boston). Old tilework is definitely nice.

Thanks! That is a great link! I've been wanting to get into the old stations -- hoping to someday hear of a tour or expedition.
