Over Thanksgiving, the family gathered in Madison, Wisconsin.
We journeyed to an old town, originally a mining town settled by Welsh miners. It had the hand-crafted feel of an place built by skilled workers in a company town. The town hoped to develop a tourist economy, but many of the store-fronts were empty.
