Alphabet via cell phone

The other day I was talking with someone at work about games that make you see things differently - specifically the city. He'd had an idea to collect alphabets mentally (or by camera?) - walking around Chinatown today I tried it on my phone. I only got part of the way through before groceries and errands weighed my hands down -- but I still noticed the letters.
