Sydney surprises me sometimes - feeling quite connected and aware of the world, but being so small.

A bus passing by today proclaimed The Walking Dead Season 3 would air only '33 hours behind the US.' Both a testament to the ubiquitous use of downloading to keep up with the rest of the world - and to the distant scale of 33 hours.

A poster a while back showcased a very nice young woman I'd met several times - a part of the arts and the biking scene here. I saw her face daily for almost a month on the posters, a reminder of how small a community it is.
